I came into the shop 2 weeks ago looking for a bouquet for my daughters 18th birthday. I had no idea what to choose but after talking to a lady #, who's name unfortunately I don't know, I chose the perfect flowers. I asked that the flowers be delivered to Damons at Beighton, where I had a birthdy meal booked. The lady told me she would deliver the flowers late afternoon so that they would be in perfect order for my daughter. I was amazed when the lady actually delivered the flowers during the meal, she said she wanted to ensure we received them ok. I was incredibily impressed by what I saw as a very personal service and would like to thank the lady concerned for making my daughters birthday even more special. Also the flowers were beautiful. I just wanted to write and thank you for arranging my mothers funeral flowers. as soon as I saw them I knew that mum would have been so very thrilled that you had taken the time and the care to create somethign that was so in keeping with her personality. Dear Annie,
Just a note of thanks for your part played in a celibrations. The Bouquets were delightfu - just what Deb required. The 'reminants' are in a vase on my harth now!. The Arrangements were lovely. The pedistal was sumptious and the Ceremony / Top table arrangements a lovely fusion of modern & traditional design - I loved the Delphinium flowers threaded on the grass. Yes Annie - the arrangements were moved - everywhere - and looked perfect wherever they landed.
Thanks too for the knife bow, you saved the day. We have one picture with the cake with the bouquet &  they do compliment each other in their purity, simplicity & elegance.  We all had a really wonderful celebration and the bride and groom smilled all day long. No words we can choose will adequately express what a wonderful wedding day we had and we would like to sincerely thank you all for everything you did to ensure our day was so special & memorable. My flowers were truely beautiful and your ability to create the exact thing I had in my head is a gift few are blessed with. Everything was perfect - even the snow arived right on cue! On the day the thing that I was most impressed with (but didn’t have a massive amount of control over) were the flowers. Loved loved loved my bouquet & the peonies were the nicest I’ve ever seen. My main requests were big peonies and craspedia and the florist carried on the theme throughout the venue decorations. We scoured antique shops for vintage bottles for a good year before the wedding which was a lot of fun, and these were used as table centerpieces.
We originally wanted use my Grandad’s old battered typewriter as an alternative to the guest book but we couldn’t get the bloody thing working. Instead we challenged our florist to make the rusty old thing look pretty. Monica Hewitt, you did us very very very proud. Rock My wedding
